One killed, 3 wounded in German campus shooting

Frankfurt, Germany: A teenager student opened fire at Heidelberg University in southwestern Germany on Monday, killing a young woman and injuring three others.

He fled from the spot after committing the crime. The incident occurred during an organic chemistry class for bioscience students and before the incident assailant texted his father on WhatsApp that people have to be punished now.

 

Meanwhile, motive of the crime is yet not clear but the preliminary investigation reveal that accused had previously suffered from psychiatric problems, police said.

The cataclysmic incident has shocked the picturesque town of Heidelberg and students are traumatised after the shooting in classroom, which was attended by 30 people at the Neuenheimer Feld campus.
