Chandigarh: The one-day special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha began here on Friday.
Before start of the session, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led the Vidhan Sabha in paid tributes to the former MLA Ajit Singh Shant from Nihal Singh Wala, who had passed away since the last session of the Assembly during one-day special sitting of its first session on Friday.
A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of departed soul as a mark of respect during the obituary reference.
