‘Not looking for any confrontation with China over Spy Balloon’, says US President Joe Biden

Washington: The case of the shooting down of the Chinese Spy Balloon by the US has still not calmed down. There is speculation of increasing tension between the US and China. Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has said on Wednesday that there are differences over the shooting down of a Chinese spy balloon, but the US does not want any confrontation with China on this issue.

After the balloon was shot down, China had warned the US, calling it a civil balloon. The Chinese Defense Ministry had said that the US is deliberately exaggerating this issue.

On the balloon dispute with China, President Joe Biden also said that I am ready to work with China for the interests of America and the world, but if they harm us, we will definitely protect ourselves.

Earlier, President Biden had said that the relationship between the US and China is not going to be weakened due to the shooting down of the Chinese balloon.

A Chinese spy balloon was seen above the US nuclear site, which was shot down by an American fighter jet on February 4 with planning after much thought. China called it a civil balloon.

China authorities said the balloon was only conducting weather research, but the Pentagon described it as a high-tech espionage operation.

China’s Ministry of Defense (Chinese Defense Ministry) said that the US has seriously violated international rules. China will firmly safeguard its legitimate rights and interests. At the same time, the US had said that the balloon was being used to gather intelligence.
