No confirmation on Amritpal Singh’s whereabouts, saye Punjab Police

Chandigarh: Amritpal Singh, head of Waris Punjab De, is still away from the custody of the police.

Many intelligence claim Amritpal’s presence in Punjab and some officials in Uttar Pradesh. CCTV footage in this regard had surfaced in which he was shown roaming in Patiala a day earlier.

Police officials and investigating agencies are still in a dilemma in this case.

A section of officials say he is still in Punjab while another says he has moved to the district in UP that borders Nepal. They said Amritpal’s blurred picture was not concrete evidence but a ploy to divert the attention of the policemen looking for him.
