Chandigarh: Newly-appointed Punjab Congress President Raja Warring has been issued a notice by the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and a fine of Rs. 29,000 has been imposed on for violation of civic norms. The fine is said to have been imposed for putting up posters and banners without approval.
Now the new Congress president of Punjab will have to pay this fine. Raja Warring took over as the new president of The Punjab Congress yesterday in state office in Chandigarh and event was organised here.
Meanwhile posters and banners were put up on trees to welcome him and its permission was not even taken after which the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to him imposing a fine.
