Chandigarh: Former Punjab Congress president Navjot Sidhu could not get freedom on Republic Day. Preparations were made in the house for his release, which was all gone in vain. However, Congress leaders supporting Sidhu have gathered at his Patiala residence.

Sidhu’s wife, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, expressed her anger over his non-release. She wrote on social media- Navjot Sidhu comes in the category of a dreaded animal. For this reason, he was not being given relief for release in the 75th year of Independence. Everyone is requested to stay away from him.
