Imphal: Mobile internet services have been suspended in Manipur for five days by the Manipur government on Sunday.
The move came in a bid to control the rising communal tension in the Manipur after a vehicle was set ablaze by about 4 men at Phougakchao Ikhang yesterday.
Special Secretary (Home) H. Gyan Prakash has issued an order in this regard. According to the order, some anti-social elements are using social media to spread hate speeches, which is hurting the sentiments of the people.
