Man urinates on woman on US flight, FIR lodges, DGCA starts probe

New Delhi: A shocking case has come out from an Air India flight. A 70-year-old woman was urinated by a drunk man on a flight from the US to Delhi.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Air India have now taken cognizance of the matter. “We are seeking a report from the airline and will take action against those found negligent,” the DGCA said.

On November 26, 2022, a female co-passenger in air India’s business class was urinated by a drunk male passenger. Air India has lodged a police complaint in connection with the incident that took place on November 26.

An Air India official said that the incident took place when the plane was on its way to Delhi from JFK (US).

“Air India has constituted an internal committee in this incident and recommended putting the male passenger on the ‘no-fly list’… The matter is under government committee and a decision is awaited.”

A 70-year-old woman passenger was allegedly urinated by a drunk man on a Delhi-bound flight from the US. The elderly woman told the cabin crew about this, despite this, the man was not caught and he easily left the airport.

Not only this, according to sources, the investigation of the case also started when the woman wrote a letter to Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran.
