Indian-origin nurse and two children found dead in UK, murder investigation launched

London: An Indian-origin woman and her two children have been found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Northampton area of eastern England, Police said.

Northamptonshire police officials said the woman and the child were found at their home. All three also had serious injuries. At present, the local police have started murder investigating.

According to the information, the 40-year-old Malayali from Kottayam used to work as a nurse in the Catering General Hospital. She lived in the town of Kettering with her six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter.

On Thursday morning, police officers were called to the spot. However, despite the efforts of them and the medical teams, the woman died on the spot.

At the same time, both children died during treatment in the hospital. Northamptonshire Police’s Police Area Commander Superintendent Steve Freeman said the woman’s 52-year-old husband has been arrested. He is being interrogated. He works in a hotel there. They had been in the UK for the past year.

A forensic post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death, he said. After which the names of the victims will be formally released. This incident is very unfortunate.
