India won’t only be US ally, will be another great Power”: US

Washington: The US has said that India will not only be an ally of US, but a major power. White House Asia Coordinator Kurt Campbell said on Thursday that over the last 20 years, the India-US bilateral relationship has not only accelerated, but the relationship has also become very strong.

He said the relationship between the two countries has not only been built on concerns about China, but is based on the important synergy between our societies. Bilateral relations with no other country have been stronger than with India.

India will become another big power: Campbell

Campbell said the US needs to invest even more of its potential and enhance people-to-people ties while working together on technology and other issues. India has its own strategic identity. India has the potential to become an independent, powerful nation. It will become another great force.

Campbell said that we should move forward working together on the issue of space, education, climate change or technology. He admitted that India’s approach was vague when President Joe Biden and his administration decided to take the Quad to the level of leader.
