New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 8,813 new cases of corona have been reported in the country, taking the total number of corona cases to 44,277,194.
The number of active cases stands at 111,252. In the last 24 hours, 15,040 people were cured of Corona, so far a total of 43,638, 844 people have recovered from Corona while 29 people died due to Corona in the same span.
Health department administered 6,10,863 vaccinations in past 24 hours. A total of 2,08,31,24,694 vaccinations have been done so far.
India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 2020 and 40 lakh on September 5, 2020. It went past 50 lakh on September 16, 2020, 60 lakh on September 28, 2020, 70 lakh on October 11, 2020, crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 2020 and surpassed 90 lakh on November 20.
On December 19, 2020, these cases in the country had crossed one crore. Last year, the number of infected crossed two crore on May 4 and three crore on June 23, 2021. On January 25 this year, the infection cases had crossed four crore.
