Chandigarh: Nine people were killed in a gas leak at a factory in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Sunday. The accident took place at 7:15 am in the factory in Giaspura locality.
Ludhiana SDM Swati said 11 people fell unconscious after the gas leak. Fire brigade and police teams are present at the spot. The entire area has been sealed. The cause of the gas leak is yet to be ascertained. The rescue operation is underway.
