New Delhi: Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has died at the age of 79. Pervez Musharraf was admitted to the hospital for treatment for a long time.
Musharraf was the President of Pakistan from 2001-2008. From 1998 to 2007, he also held the post of Army Chief.
Musharraf, 79, was suffering from amyloidosis, In this disease, an abnormal protein called amyloid is formed in the organs and tissues of the whole body.
Local media reported that the military ruler was undergoing treatment in Dubai. Musharraf was born on August 11, 1943 in Delhi.
He took over as chief executive after imposing martial law in the country in 1999 and served as the President of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008.
