Mansa: Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has returned to mainstream politics after almost eight months living in abroad.
Channi first met Priyanka Gandhi Vadra after returning from a foreign tour. After this, he also held discussions with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Now Channi reached the village of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He met Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and spent the night there.
Channi tweeted and shared a picture with Balkaur Singh himself. In this picture, he is seen sitting with Sidhu Moosewala’s father.
Apart from this, the Punjab Police handed over the summons in a case registered under Section 188 of the IPC during the assembly elections. The Punjab Police asked Channi to appear before it on January 12 in connection with a case registered in Mansa during the assembly elections.
