New Delhi: The first case of Monkeypox has also been confirmed in India. Globally, 3,413 monkeypox cases have been reported in the last six months, although 86% of the cases have been reported in Europe and 11% in the US.
India had prepared the Guidelines for Monkeypox in the May. Now that the matter has come to light, once again the Health Ministry has written to the states and directed them to implement it strictly .
The central government has written a letter to the states asking them to be careful about monkeypox.
