New Delhi: The Delhi Police has registered a case under the Indian Penal Code, the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the Damage to Public Property Act in connection with the protests outside the Indian High Commission in London on March 19. According to the police, it was Indian nationals who had committed these illegal acts abroad due to this action has been taken by the police.
After receiving a report from the Ministry of External Affairs on the March 19 incident at the Indian High Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the Delhi Police to take appropriate legal action.
