Birmingham: The semi-finals of women’s cricket at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham will be played on August 6.
In the first semi-final where India and England (IND vs ENG) will face each other. In the second semi-final, Australia will face New Zealand. Both matches are expected to be extremely exciting.
The Indian women’s cricket team defeated Barbados unilaterally in their last match to advance to the semi-finals. Team India finished second in their Group-A.
India suffered a thrilling defeat to Australia in their first match. They then defeated Pakistan and Barbados to book a place in the semi-finals.
On the other hand, the England team had put up a strong performance in their Group-B to make it to the semi-finals by finishing first. England won all three of their matches.
