Chandigarh: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has repeatedly apologised to the country’s senior surgeon Dr Raj Bahadur for the humiliation meted out to health minister Chetan Singh Jodamajra. Mann also asked the doctor to reconsider the decision to resign from the post of vice chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot.
According to sources, Mann called up the doctor and apologised after the doctor sent his resignation to the chief minister this morning.
CM also told the surgeon that he was aware of his contribution to medical science and warned the minister against such behaviour.
