London: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is likely to visit India end of this month with a motive to strengthen ongoing India-UK Free Trade Agreement negotiations, according to official sources.
Officials said that British PM’s visit is expected around April 22, which is a long due amid Covid-19 pandemic as he had cancelled his visit twice in recent past.
The UK government is yet to confirm the visit but sources said that Johnson had a brief interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone recently and is planning to visit India soon.
