Chandigarh: Former Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MLAs Amarpal Singh Boney and Manmohan Singh have joined the BJP in Punjab on Wednesday. Both of them joined the party in Delhi. They were accompanied by state president Ashwani Sharma.
Amarpal Singh Boney Ajnala had resigned from the SAD a few days ago. He had sent his resignation to SAD party president Sukhbir Singh Badal and blamed that under the leadership of Badal, party is not functioning properly.
SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal had recently said that AAP was putting Punjab in power crisis. On his remarks, CM Mann also gave a befitting reply during the press conference and asked Badal to confuse Punjabis to grow his inverter business. At the same time, SAD has appointed new office bearers at various places in Punjab in the past.
