Chandigarh: Days after formation of the Punjab Anti-Gangster Task Force by Aam Aadmi Party government, it has arrested two gangsters from Haryana and Uttarakhand.
Accused were wanted in the Dharmender Pinda killing, who was killed in Patiala and some other cases in Punjab.
Sources said that Punjab police was conducting raids at gangsters’ hideout in neighbouring states, which led to the arrests.
Meanwhile, this is the first operation by newly formed AGTF, which is headed by ADGP Pramod Ban.
Other members are AIG Gurmeet Chauhan and IG Gurpreet Singh Bhullar.
