Agniveer joins parade, saluted with Indian-made guns during Republic Day Parade

New Delhi: India is celebrating its 74th Republic Day today. On this occasion, a parade was held on the path of duty, in which women power to military power were demonstrated. At the same time, for the first time this year, under the Agneepath scheme, agniveers took part in the Republic Day parade on the path of duty. Similarly, many such things happened this year which were seen for the first time on Republic Day.

This year, the Republic Day parade was held for the first time on the path of duty. For the first time in Republic Day 2023, a 21-gun salute was given by 105 mm light field India-made guns keeping in mind the self-reliant India.

An Egyptian leader was invited as the chief guest at the Republic Day parade.

On Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held bilateral talks with PM Modi, with the Egyptian army making its presence felt for the first time in the Republic Day parade.

Under the Agneepath scheme, Agniveer has become a part of Republic Day for the first time.
