After SC orders, Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee takes control of gurdwara under SGPC

Chandigarh: The Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGMC) has taken over the control of Gurdwara Dasvi Patachi in Sirsa under the Aegis of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) following the Supreme Court’s decision to retain the recognition of the Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGMC).

Talking to media persons on the occasion, Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGMC) President Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal said that the management of gurdwaras in Haryana will now be done by the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

Hw urged SGPC to gracefully handover possession of all gurdwaras to them after apex court’s order and asked them to not file a review petition to challange the orders.

No employee working in gurdwaras here will be removed. The work of management the gurdwaras will be done by taking everyone along. Prakash Singh Sahuwala, president of the Committee of Gurdwara Dasvi Patachi, was also present on the occasion.
