Birmingham: The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) today announced that star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will not compete in the Commonwealth Games due to injuries.
Chopra had won a historic silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene on Sunday and was injured during the competition.
IOA general secretary Rajeev Mehta said the Olympic champion has been advised rest for the month.
