Maharashtra: A day after Uddhav Thackeray resigned as the chief minister of Maharashtra after ending of Maha Vikas Aghadi government rule, BJP senior leader Devendra Fadnavis announced that Eknath Shinde will be the next chief minister of the state.
“I wouldn’t be part of the government and BJP will extend its support to Shinde,” Fadnavis said while addressing a press conference here.
