12 kg gold, 3 kg silver, 4 iPhones recovered in raid by Vigilance Bureau from IAS Popli’s house

Chandigarh: Hours after suicide by arrested IAS Sanjay Popli’s son at his residence during Punjab Vigilance’s presence, officials said that team has recovered around 12 kg of gold and other valuables from the house of IAS Popli. Vigilance recovered 9 gold kg bricks from Sanjay Popli’s Chandigarh house, recovered 3 silver bricks, total 18 coins of 10-10 grams of silver (total weight 180 g), total 49 gold biscuits (total weight 3160 gm), total 12 gold coins (total weight 356 gms), Apple I-Phone (total 4), Samsung company’s mobile phone, 2 smart watches of Samsung company and total 700 Indian currency notes of 500-500 total amounting to Rs 3.50 lakh were recovered during the raid.
