New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched 5G test beds and dedicated it to people.
Speaking on the occasion, PM said that he has got the opportunity to dedicate the country to his own, self-made 5G testbed nation. It is also an important step towards the self-reliance of critical and modern technology in the telecom sector.
“I congratulate all my colleagues associated with this project, our IITs. As a 5Gi, the country’s own 5G standard has been created, it is a matter of great pride for the country. It will play a big role in bringing 5G technology to the villages of the country.”
PM Modi further said that connectivity in 21st century India will determine the pace of the country’s progress. Therefore, connectivity at every level has to be modernized.
