New Delhi: The court in Delhi has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Okhla, Amanatullah Khan today.
On Thursday, the Delhi Police had arrested Khan for allegedly obstructing the MCD’s anti-encroachment drive in Madanpur Khadar area.
After getting bail, Amanatullah Khan’s wife has issued a statement. She tweeted from the AAP MLA’s handle, “Satyamev Jayate! The judiciary has slapped the BJP’s nefarious designs. The court granted bail to Amanatullah Khan Saheb. Thank you all for the prayers.
