ECI extends ban on road shows, Pad-yatras, rallies

New Delhi: Relaxing further the Covid-19 norms for campaigning in the five poll-bound states, the Election Commission decided to do away with the absolute number restriction of 1,000 people on Sunday in open ground for physical rallies and instead allowed political parties and candidates to hold such events with 30 percent of the capacity of the designated place.

According to the order, ban on road shows, Pad-Yatras, cycle/bike/vehicle rallies and processions to continue and ECI grants further relaxation for Physical public meetings in indoor Halls and Outdoor meetings

Covid appropriate behaviour and Precautions to be observed strictly and limit of 20 Persons for Door to Door Campaign to Continue.
