India beat Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the first cricket Test

Nagpur: In the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India defeated Australia by an innings and 132 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.

In the second innings, one of the Australian batsmen did not run. Ashwin took 5 wickets for India. Earlier, Akshar Patel’s 84 helped India take a 223-run lead by scoring 400 runs in the first innings on the third day of the first cricket Test against Australia today.
