Punjab reports 38 new covid-19 cases, govt asks people not to panic

Chandigarh: The Covid-19 epidemic has knocked again in the entire country including Punjab. 38 positive cases of corona have been confirmed in Punjab.

State Health Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra today visited the district-level government hospital at Mohali to take stock of the preparations and arrangements in advance and also issued some necessary instructions to the doctors and paramedical staff, including officials of the health department.

Talking to reporters, the Health Minister said that there is no need to be afraid of Corona. It is more important to be careful than treatment. The Punjab government is fully prepared to deal with the Corona epidemic as before.

He said that special wards have been created in all government hospitals and vaccine arrangements have also been made. He appealed to all Punjabis to wear masks while going to public places and those who have not been vaccinated must get vaccinated.
