New Delhi:In India, marriage is considered to be a relationship of seven births. Due to this, many people organise a fig-fat wedding events to make this day special.
However, in a flabbergasting incident from Gujarat, a girl is going to get married on June 11, but with without a groom.
The 24-year-old Kshama Bindu, who lives in Vadodara, is going to marry herself. In this wedding, there will be customs, from pheras to traditional rituals, but just not the groom. It is being called India’s first self-marriage or single marriage.
She says about this self-marriage, “I never wanted to get married, but I wanted to be a bride. So I decided to marry myself. Maybe in my own country I am the first girl to set an example of self-love.”
