An 11-year-old Hindu boy was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in Pakistan Sindh area on the ‘World Children’s Day’, local media.
Victim’s body was found in in Babarloi town in Khairpur Mir on Saturday. According to family members, the boy went missing on Friday evening and his body was later found in an abandoned house.
Family said that they were attending a religious function at a local Gurdwara on the eve of Guru Nanak’s birthday.
The boy was 5th standard student and was born in 2011. Following the incident, local police and Child Protection officials have shifted the body for post-mortem examinations and launched the investigation into the matter.
