New Delhi: Continuous rains have led to floods and landslides situations and killed at least three people in Dima Hasao district of Assam.
Around 1.97 lakh people in 20 districts of the state have been affected by the current wave of floods. According to a report by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, 51,357 people have been affected in Kachhar district alone.
As many as 652 villages under 46 revenue circles have been affected by this wave of floods and 16,645.61 hectares of crop land has been submerged due to flood waters.
