FIFA said in a statement that the Council has decided to lift the suspension of the AIFF on August 25 with immediate effect. Now the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup can be held in India from October 11 to 30 as planned.
According to FIFA, it was decided after FIFA received confirmation that the Committee of Administrators (CoA) set up to assume the powers of the AIFF Executive Committee has been abolished and that the AIFF administration now has full control over the day-to-day affairs of the AIFF.
