Uttar Pradesh: The first phase of polling was completed in Uttar Pradesh on February 10. With the end of voting, all parties have been engaged in campaigning for the second phase.
Addressing a virtual rally, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra lashed out at PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government.
“Where I’m going, I’m just seeing that the unemployment rate here is rising at exponential rate. The PM is buying ships for 16,000 crore for himself but he is not worried about the farmers,” she said adding that
sugarcane farmers in the state owe 14,000 crore, the PM could have fulfilled it if he wanted to, but he is not doing it.
Priyanka hit out at the PM, saying that he was making his friends rich while did not care about woes of farmers.
She said that government if the Congress forms government in UP, they will waive off the loan of farmers.
