Maharashtra: The first reaction from Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut came after the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray. Sanjay Raut said that whenever there is a new government in Maharashtra, they are expected to work for the interest of the state. All parties will join them. However, he added that we have been cheated by our own. We have been stabbed in the back by own people.
“Today, I spoke to the rebel MLAs (I will not give names). Pressure has been put on Shiv Sena MLAs. Now the question is, will the leader of those who rebelled against the Shiv Sena be the Chief Minister? He further said, Eknath Shinde is a hardcore Shiv Sainik. He has worked at the party for many years. Now if he goes with the BJP, I wish him all the best, he added.
