New Delhi: The police have submitted a preliminary investigation report on the violence on Hanuman Jayanti in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri to the Union Home Ministry. According to sources, violence took place in Jahangirpuri under a planned conspiracy. The precautionary measures taken by the Delhi Police have also been submitted in the report.
A total of 24 people have been arrested so far in the case, including three minors. In the report, the Delhi Police, while giving details of the incident that took place on Saturday evening, said that the incident was part of a well-thought-out conspiracy by anti-social elements, which was foiled by the Delhi Police in time. The Delhi Police in its report said that the case is being investigated from all angles.
