Chandigarh: Former Deputy Chief Minister Om Prakash Soni today appeared before the Punjab Vigilance Bureau in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
The vigilance interrogated him for about two hours. Talking to reporters after coming out of the vigilance office, Soni said that he did not build the property illegally, the property was exactly according to his income.
Vigilance SSP Varinder Singh said Soni was handed over several papers and they have been asked to submit details in a week. The further investigation into the case is underway.
