New Delhi: The Ukrainian commander in Mariupol during the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia today appealed directly to the world’s richest man Elon Musk for help.
She called for help in evacuating people stranded in the southern city occupied by the Russian army.
Erhi Volina, commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, said she had created her twitter account to get her point across to Musk. In the post, Serie Volina wrote, “People say you came from another planet and have come to tell people that what seems impossible can also be found.”
She further added that, “We live in the planet next to each other. It’s hard to stay alive where I live. I appeal to you to help us get out of the Azovstal.”
