Beijing: Taiwan today cancelled several flights after the Chinese navy fired missiles in response to US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.
China considers Taiwan as its territory. China has also ordered ships and aircraft to suspend their services during military exercises. The media has called it an effective blockade of Taiwan.
