Sri Guru Granth Sahib should not be used as a shield for holding protests: AAP Minister

Chandigarh: Accusing opposition of running slanderous campaigns and misleading people to tarnish clean image of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab, the Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Friday reiterated that the law and order situation is intact in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Addressing the media persons here, the Punjab Rural Development and Panchayats, Farmers’ Welfare & Agriculture and NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said that no one will be allowed to disturb the hard-earned peace of Punjab and all anti-social elements will be dealt with iron hand.

Praising Punjab police for handling the situation prudently during the violent protest at Ajnala yesterday, the Cabinet Minister said that he salutes the Punjab police personnel for successfully dealing with the law and order situation in Ajnala.
