New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has issued summons to Congress President Sonia Gandhi for June 23 in a money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper. They were earlier summoned for June 8, but in the meantime they contracted the corona infection, due to which they expressed their inability to appear before the agency. The Congress president had sought a fresh date to appear before the ED.
Sonia Gandhi has been summoned for questioning at the ED office in Delhi on June 23, the official said. Sonia Gandhi’s son and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will appear in the same case on June 13.
