Sidhu appoints former DGP Mustafa his Principal Strategist Advisor

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday appointed former Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa as his Principal Strategic Advisor here.

While sharing the appointment letter on his officials twitter handle, Sidhu, also posted a photo with Mustafa and his wife Congress minister Razia Sultana and wrote, “Love to be associated with Razia Ji and Mustafa sahib”

“Mohd Mustafa (former IPS and DGP Punjab) is hereby appointed as Principal Strategic Advisor to PPCC President, the undersigned Navjot Singh Sidhu with immediate effect. He would act as PPCC coordinator with the AICC on issues pertaining to his domain and any other matters that the President may deem fit,” the latter read.

Earlier, former DGP was appointed as one of his four advisers but Mustafa declined to take up the offer saying that he was not ‘cut out’ for political roles.
