Changwan: India with 15 medals (five gold, six silver and four bronze) topped the ISSF Shooting World Cup today.
On the final day of the tournament, Anish Bhanwala, Vijayveer Sidhu and Sameer won the silver medal in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol team event.
The Indian trio was leading 10-2 at one stage in the final clash with Martin Podarski, Thomas Tehan and Matej Rampula of the Czech Republic but in the end they had to settle for a silver medal by finishing second at 15-17.
In the skeet mixed team event, India’s duo of Mairaj Ahmed Khan and Mufaddal Disawala finished at ninth spot.
