Punjab CM accuses BJP-led government of selling country’s assets

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday launched a scathing attack at the BJP and the Congress during a rally in Madhya Pradesh. Mann said that the central government is selling the government properties of the country and the Congress MLAs themselves are on the sale.

Mann said that before becoming the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi used to say that he sell tea at the railway station and after becoming the Modi sold the Railways itself. His government sold LIC, Rail, Coal, LIC, banks, airports, ports, and BPCL.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed Aam Aadmi Party workers at a public meeting at Bhel Dussehra ground in Bhopal.

Maan said that if the intention is clear, everything is possible. We are working with true intentions. In Punjab, we have done many big things in one year and same Arvind Kejriwal model will. implement here after forming the government. The corrupt leaders will be thrown into the jail.

Within a year, we have started upgrading government schools to transform them into schools of eminence. Teachers of government schools of Punjab have been sent to abroad for international training. 300 units of electricity are being given free of cost to the common people every month. Apart from this, we have given government jobs to more than 27000 youth of Punjab within just one year.

Mann said that AAP government has curb the corruption in Punjab. After forming the government, we launched an anti-corruption helpline number, after which action was taken against hundreds of corrupt government officials, employees and power leaders. Now corrupt people think hundred times before taking bribe.

Mann said that people have assumed that BJP toppled the Congress government just like Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. On the other hand, AAP has been working dedicatedly even the LG troubles interferes into the government functioning on the directions of BJP.

Mann condemned the action of sending AAP leaders to jail after registering fake cases and said, “They thought Manish Sisodia is building schools and winning people’s hearts with his extraordinary works. So they put Manish Sisodia in jail. Whereas Gautam Adani looted the country.” Nothing was done to him. No action was taken against Adani.”
