Haryana: The Haryana government has appointed 1988-batch IPS officer Prashanta Kumar Agrawal as DGP Haryana here on Sunday. His term will be of two years from the date of his assumption of office.
IPS officers Dr RC Mishra (1989 batch), Muhammad Akil (1989 batch) and Agrawal were considered for the post but the government selected Agrawal.
He would replace Manoj Yadava, who had joined as police chief on February 21, 2019.
