Chandigarh: Making serious remarks on the “character” of former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi, senior Congress leader Sunil Jakhar levelled allegations of #MeToo against Channi.
During an interview with a news channel, Jakhar said that he has never accepted Channi as his leader as he knew him very well.
“Even after Metoo controversy with an IAS officer, Channi did the same act with a female journalist,” Jakhar said adding that this is a very serious allegation and he is saying this with full responsibility.
The video clip of the interview has now gone viral on the social media. Channi, however, yet not reacted to the allegations.
Earlier, Jakhar also levelled allegations of Corruption against Channi and also launched fierce attack on Congress Rajya Sabha member Ambika Soni.
He blamed the Congress’ defeat in Punjab on Channi and Soni, who supported Channi as CM face.
