Indonesia lifts ban on foreign arrival for tourism boost

New Delhi: In a bid to generate revenue From tourism, Indonesia has lifted a ban on all foreign arrivals and kept the required isolation period at 7 days.

Though, Covid-19 infections continued to climb in the country but authorities, last week, decided to remove all 14 heavy infected nation’s from its travel ban list, allowing people from nations including South Africa and UK.

“It will be difficult for cross border movements that are still needed to maintain stability including the national economic recovery,” Spokesman Wiku Adisasmito said in the statement.
