New Delhi: In the first T20 match, India defeated West Indies by six wickets in Kolkata on Wednesday.
Suryakumar returned unbeaten on 34 runs with just 18 balls and Iyer’s 24 inning led the team to chase down the 158-run target while 7 balls were remaining.
West Indies set a target of 157/7 in 20 overs. In response, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma played a fabulous knock of 40 runs off just 19 balls and dominated the opponent throughout the match.
